Banner Exchange

It's an art trade... in a mini, sort of fun lil' way of its own >^^;<

How It Works: In a nutshell -- you make one for me, and I make one for you. Basically, I'm looking for little graphic banners (any size within reason) for any one of my sites (PixiMyst, Carnival, Shepard's Journal, The Willowbark Café, and - we can't forget - the Trading Post) In return, I will make you a custom banner for your webbie =D All you need to do is write me an email with what you are going to trade and a description of what you would like (see details below). You can request any number of banners, so long as you include the same amount in your trade ;) Keep in mind that I will use your artwork as I see fit. Sometimes, I may not use it online at all -- that choice is ultimately up to me.

What I Like: Take a look at my wishlist. It should give you a pretty good idea of what I like ;) ... But just in case, here are a couple general rules of thumb: -- When making banners, site theme is always a good thing to look at >^.^< + For PixiMyst: Think fairies, pixi-dust, rainbows, sparkles, flowers, nature, good times, pastell-like colours, spring-time, cute & fluffy, lil' unicorns, Wuvy (a white CKBC with a tan heart on her side), etc. + For Shepard's Journal: Think scrapbooking, journal pages, and basically anything PixiMyst related + For Carnival: Think scrapbooking, crafting, graphic makers, etc. + For Willowbark: Think kitchen, country living, and... well, it's pretty self-explanitory :) -- Keep them light. I don't really care for dark gothy things... na-uh. -- "Nature's Sketchbook" does some really beautiful cards that I like. Take a look at some if you are interested in some of the STYLES that I like ;)

Customizable Things: Here are some things that you can customize for your banner. Keep in mind that you can be totally & completely creative (you don't HAVE to stick to this list if you don't want to). I'm quite flexable >^^;< *** Note: If you don't really have anything in mind and would just like me to choose what the banner looks like, just put "Surprise me :)" in the form where it asks for a description. + Size: Within reason, I'm willing to make ANY size banner you wish. On your form, please indicate which size you would like by pixels (width x height; i.e. - 45 x 126) + Shape: Most commonly, people like to choose either a rectangular, circular, or oval shape. However, I can do variations in each. For example, I can round the corners of squares, make it look like a stamp outline, etc. etc. Take a look at some of the designs for the basic shapes of the "Petz Rotation" banners. Those are good examples :) + Style: What should I make your banner out of? Pixels? Vectors? Smooth backgrounds? Photo backgrounds? Screenshot backgrounds? A little bit of everything? + Theme: What kind of stuff do you want on your banner? Often this includes colour-scheme, etc. + Content: Is there anything specific you would like on the banner (and where)? If you have a particular petz picture that you want me to use, please don't hesitate to send it along in your e-mail. + Text: I have a variety of fonts, from fancy to plain. For smaller banners, I will use simple fonts for clarity. Also, is there any particular message you have in mind? Do you even want text?
